Capturing a wedding in Rome is always magical, and this one was no exception. The day began with the groom, full of anticipation, preparing for the big moment. In those quiet, intimate moments, I captured the tender exchange between him and his mother, as they shared a loving touch while adjusting his tie. It set the tone for a day filled with warmth and joy.
The ceremony at the Basilica of Saints John and Paul on the Caelian Hill was enchanting, creating a sacred atmosphere, yet in full light, no wonder this church is commonly named the Church of the Chandeliers. Afterwards we made our way to the Colosseum which added a magical touch to the couple’s playful, tender moments against the backdrop of ancient history. From there, on to the gardens of Villa Celimontana to enjoy a wonderful view of the eternal city and some shots amidst the palm trees.
The celebration continued at Casale Consolini, a charming villa, where their beautiful reception, followed by the cutting of the cake and the toss of the bouquet was the perfect ending to a day filled with love and timeless beauty.
